Being a forerunner in the antenna business, our capabilities
have continually expanded to sell, install and service hundreds of
thousands of residential and commercial antenna systems. These
capabilities have established a customer base in Maryland, The
District of Columbia, Northern Virginia and portions of the States
of Delaware and Pennsylvania.
Action Antenna has always been given the highest marks for
their professionalism. These high marks are for their installation
of more than 100,000 Super TV antennas and receivers
(a UHF Pay TV Channel), and the first DBS service in association
with RCA Service Company and General Instruments for United
Satellite Communications, Inc. (USCI) in the mid 1980’s.
In 1990, Sears, Roebuck & Company bestowed honors to Action
Antenna for being their Outstanding Licensee for service to the
customer, professional technical achievement and for the commitment
to and cooperation with Sears for Marketing and Sales and for installed
products and services. Also, an Outstanding National Achievement
Award was given in 1994 from Sears for their ‘Quality Every Day’
program through customers surveyed.
Action Antenna maintains a ‘source of sales’ through a Dealer
Network of more than 200 television equipment sales and repair
service facilities throughout our operational territory.
Action is the authorized contractor for Thomson Consumer
Electronics (RCA) and SONY, and the Preferred DSS Installation
Contractor for Circuit City Stores, Sears, Montgomery Ward,
Baltimore Gas & Electric, Best Buys, The Hecht Company, Audio Buys,
Incredible Universe (Tandy), Myer—Emco, Erol’s TV, Ricky’s TV,
LaPlata TV and others. Since September 1994, we have installed
more than 4,000 Digital Satellite Systems and antennas during the
first year of operations.
Thomson Consumer Electronics/RCA and the DSS Dealers/Service
Centers, have given Action Antenna their highest marks (100%) for
SATISFACTION from their customers, with the installation of their
new DSS System. These high marks for satisfaction are for
courteousness, professionalism, cleanliness and orderliness and
providing sufficient instructions for using the system. These same
satisfied customers are also recommending Action Antenna to their
friends for their antenna installation needs.
Recently, DirecTv and United States Satellite Broadcasting
(USSB) stated that Action Antenna is the Number 1 TVRO Dealer in
the Eastern Region for their number of installed sales and
retention of the programming services. |
